Avoid using illlegal software

Piracy is defined as illegal copying or distribution of software, either for private use or in business relation.

Have a valid license the software that you wish we install. Not all quite understand why this is important, but for us it is important to follow the law. When you come to us to install or repair Windows, you must have with you the original cd. Talk with your computer dealer if you don’t have this before coming to us. You can read more about why you must have a legal and Genuine windows version. If you use a laptop or a desktop pc, you should have a " genuine -mark" like this picture, under or on the side of your computer.



You can’t transfer OEM software from one computer to another, this despite that the original computer no longer is in use. Most people have OEM versions of Windows. An OEM license is physical bound to the computer where it was installed the first time, and cannot be carried forward to another PC. In case one wishes a “naked” computer, and plan to use a previous OEM license, it’s not allowed. In case one has bought the computer from a large PC- manufacturer, the possibility is that you have a so-called OEM-license of Windows. OEM-licenses, Original Equipment Manufacturer, are licenses that give you the right to use the Windows- version the computer was supplied with. Microsoft has now changed their criteria for what is the same computer. In the updated license term Microsoft have specified that in case you change mother board, it means that the computers is a new computer, and that you must have a new Windows license. The exception is in case if the mother board is changed because of a defect.
