Courses taught in English

The University of Tromsø is implementing a new online study information system at the moment. Because of technical problems, the publication of all courses taught in English in the Autumn semester 2008 is unfortunately delayed. We hope the system and information will soon be available.

Please download a preliminary list of courses for the Autum semester 2008.

Courses taught in English - Autum 2008

------------------------------------------------

Code system

Each course has a course code (e.g. HIS – 1111). The letters of the code is an abbreviation for the (Norwegian) name of the academic subject (HIS = HISTORIE (History)).

Courses fall into different levels: 1000 - 2000 - 3000. The numbers of the code refer to the academic level of the course.

1000 courses are at a basic level (Bachelor’s degree), 2000 courses at an intermediate level (Bachelor’s degree) and 3000 courses at an advanced level (Master’s degree).
