Academic and student facilities
Academic facilities
The University of Tromsø boasts all the facilities a modern academic institution requires – all located centrally on one campus. In order to gain access to the university library and all computer rooms, you must be registered as a student and have a valid student card.
The university campus is located at Breivika on the northern part of Tromsøya. There is a close relationship between staff and students, which makes student advice and academic discussions open and informal. Students at the University of Tromsø say they feel the doors to administrative and academic staff are always open.
