Fieldwork
It is important to start planning in due time! Quota and NORAD scholars are expected to carry out their fieldwork in their home country. Before you leave, the project description has to be approved of by the programme, check your plan of study regarding the procedure for this.
You may apply for financial support for fieldwork from different sources. Quota scholars may apply for extra support from Lånekassen. They must be notified of your plans to go on a fieldwork.
Marit Vorren at AID has the form you need and will assist you in the procedure of applying. The programme management or your supervisor will give you an enclosure to the form, which confirms that your fieldwork is included in your study programme, and between which dates you will conduct it. This is to verify your upcoming fieldwork and the time to be spent and the country of destination. A copy of your air ticket or reservation of a ticket must be included.
When applying for finances for the fieldwork, you must also include information on any other sources where you have obtained financial grants.
