Exam registration
Registration for exams (semester registration) has to be done each semester even if you are on field work - on the student web (http://studweb.uit.no/). We urge you to get familiar with the student web as soon as possible and use it actively. This is because it contains information about you, which will be used by the university in different situations where you are addressed as a student at UiTø. The university will e.g. use the postal address you've put on the student web in their correspondence with you. Thus it is vital that you register your new address here if you move during your stay in Tromsø.
The VCS requires registration for the following courses during the four semesters of the master programme:
Before the registration can be done, you have to pay the semester fee 3-4 days in advance. When the payment has been effectuated, your study agreement will pop up when you log in to the web and choose study agreement on the left side menu. Check that all your exams are there and confirm the plan. The procedure for registration at the student web is meant to be self-explanatory. But you will get assistance if you have any problems. After registration you may go directly to the Department of Academic Affairs to pick up your student identity card.
