Housing in Tromsø
First year students have priority for a room from Studentsamskipnaden, second year students have no such rights. Thus we strongly advice you to keep your room in Tromsø during fieldwork. If you've moved out of your room before you leave for fieldwork, you can't count on any assistance from AID or the programme management. To make sure the entry into Norway after your fieldwork runs smoothly, you need an address in Tromsø to give to the police at the airport upon arrival.
