Competence

The competence in InterMediaLab is diverse and spans areas such as:

Interaction design in relation to development of environments for learning and research communication.

Pedagogical design or learning design, including special needs education.

Web development is a central activity in almost every project, we do information design, graphical design and integrate and develop web technology.

Programming and scripting is important when experimenting with new functionality supporting spesific aspects of e.g. learning.

Video production at a professional level, including planning, script development, directing, lighting, shooting, editing, post-production, finalising, and distribution.

3D/virtual studio comprise  shooting video in a blue screen environment with actors, and developing a 3D studio or landscape used as background, illustrations etc.

Development methods which are integrated with research methods are used and developed in our activities. 

Infrastructure knowledge for installing and running our servers, networks and labs.
